Capital Police arrested two accused from Bihar on November 30 on charge of stealing Rs 2.31 lakh from a wine shop. The accused are identified as Balbant Kumar Jha and Pintu Kumar Jha, who were absconding after stealing cash and wine bottles from a wine shop located at Niti Vihar here where they were engaged as Manager and Salesman of the shop.
The incident was first reported at Itanagar PS on 07/11/2019 that on 01/11/19, the Manager Balbant Kumar Jha and salesman Pintu Kr Jha fled away after stealing Rs, 2.31 lakhs in cash and misappropriated Rs, 3.25 lakhs from IMFL sales.
On receipt of FIR , Itanagar PS case no. 296/19 under section 381/34 IPC registered and endorsed to ASI AK Jha for investigation. This was informed by Capital SP Tumme Amo.
The investigation revealed that they are hailing from a small village of Bihar. Their phone were found switched off but the address proof worked and IO of the case managed to arrest them within such a short span of time under the guidance of SP Capital Tumme Amo, SDPO T Sikom and OC PS Itanagar Inspr. M Geyi who were closely montoring the movement of the police team.
The police team comprising of I/O ASI A K Jha, HC N J Rai and CT H Kumar of Itanagar PS along with the arrested accused persons are on the way to Itanagar after getting transit remand from ACJM Court, Benipatti ( Bihar).
