Kiran Rijiju wrote a letter today to Union minister for Human resources Prakash Javedkar regarding the absence of a permanent director in NERIST in light of the recent protests and subsequent hunger strike by students of NERIST on the issue. The letter is shared by Rijiju himself in his time line.
In his laater, Rijiju appealed to HRD minister for the appointment of Director as soon as possible, so that NERIST can overcome the current impasse and also ensure effective management of NERIST and protect the interest of the students. Rijiju also requested the union minister for an enquiry to fix the responsibility for the delay in appointment of director.
