In his message, the Governor said that Raksha Bandhan (bond of protection) is an auspicious occasion of protective care, which is unique and pious in our society. It unites the people, cultures, communities, and the society as a whole.

It is a day when siblings pray for each others’ well being and wish for each others’ long life, good health, happiness, progress, and prosperity, the Governor said.
