The youth are the future of State and I salute them for their unbounded energy and exuberance said Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein during the end of mega auditions season 3 of Arunachal Got Talent (AGT) at Dera Natung Govt College auditorium Itanagar on Saturday.
Pouring his heart out during an annual talent hunt show, Mein said that every person carries a special talent/quality and we must help channelized this in a proper way to help them rise in life as well as carve out a niche for themselves.
Urging the youths to stay focus in life, Mein said that inculcating self-belief is a sure shot to success and asked them to remain dedicated and determined in life to achieve big.
Stressing the importance of hard work, Mein said that the youth should always keep in mind that there are no shortcuts to success and one has to work very hard consistently to achieve the goal. Our State has changed at an extraordinary pace. And in today’s competitive landscape our youths must master themselves in every skill so that a measure of success can be assured.
Laying emphasis on the importance of education, the DCM said that of-late the education scenario in state has degraded badly and the State Government is taking every step to find solutions to improve the education scenario of State. He said that the education is what makes a person self dependent and if the aspect of skill training is added to it then it can work wonders for the youth.
Dismayed over poor infrastructure facilities to conduct and organise such event, DCM gave assurance that he would place the demand for a permanent studio for shooting reality shows in the state in his next budget. He informed the gathering that he had announced this already at the set of Arunachal Idol season 2 on Friday.
Exhorting the students not to be cowed down by the adverse circumstances in life, guest of honour Ha Tatu said that the real champion is the one who fights adversity and challenges head on and emerges a winner. He also said that the character is not made but exhibited in a crisis.
He called upon the people of the state to come forward to support in organising Arunachal Got Talents or any other event which truly help to develop the creative and innovative potential of our young people of the state.
The Mentor of AGT, Gumjum Haider has informed that the main idea in organising the event was to identify local talents of all ages and showcase their talents on the AGT platform and AGT so far has been very successful in providing the right platform to bring out the hidden talents of the state in regional, national and international level.
He announced that season 1 & 2 of Arunachal Got Talents has produced and facilitated many talented performer to participate in region, national and international level competition. Of this, a contestant of Season 1 has won all India level K-Pop and stood in top 35 finalists in South Korea.
He requested the state government to include Arunachal Got Talent in the calendar event and give official status and recognition to it.
Participants’ from all districts of Arunachal Pradesh participated in AGT 3 and among 500 contestants, only 120 has been selected for elimination round 1 which will begin in the month of November. The judges for the event are actor Tai Tugung, Rapper Karken Riba and finalist of India Got Talent, Drummer Toko Teji.
The Mega audition for season 3 was conducted at DNGC Auditorium from 18th October to 21st October 2017,
The organizing committee had informed that one can follow the AGT 3 in their official Facebook page/account AGT Itanagar for more updates. To cast vote to the favorite contestant of AGT 3 this time the people has to only give a miss call to the number which will be provided later once the elimination round begins in month of November.
