We will try our best to make the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat free from all tobacco product said AP Civil Secretariat Security Officer and DSP Taw Nayam.
Nayam said “it is a general proverb that cigarette smoking is injures to health but it do create uneasy and uncomfortable to other person if you are in a vehicle at home and at offices.
In case of AP Civil Secretariat there is a standing order by the Secretary (General Administration and District Administration) to maintain the campus clean as well as Swachh Bharat Abhyan, it create several types of disease and cancer by using of such products.
This campaign will not only help maintaining the good health but will help in saving some of the pocket money and can enjoy for some more days of pleasure life.
Under Secretary, Secretariat Administration C. K. Gohain while appeal the general public not to enter the Secretariat complex with tobacco product as we will start cheeking and monitoring soon.
He also appeal all officers and officials of AP Sectt not to carry tobacco product in the campus for the sake of good health and hygiene.
Under Secretary (Establishment) Gabom Kena, Asstiant Security Officer T. Ronya among others officers were present during the disposal.
So far it is to inform that till today the Administrative officers with the help of security officer the administration have disposed of such tobacco products twice and it would be worth more than two lakhs of different tobacco products cigarette, pan massala, gutka, zarda and other products, cigarette lighters have been disposed.
