Arunachal: AAPBSU protest march in support of their demand

All Arunachal Pradesh Border Students Union (AAPBSU) today hit the street by carried out peaceful protest march in the city demanding immediate consideration of three point charter of demand.
The march which was scheduled to begin form Akashdeep Market area was not considered by the capital district administration and a huge arrangement of security force was seen right from Akashdeep, BB Plaza and Tennis court area in IG Park. The three point charted of demand which include
- Immediate appointment of independent Director for Department of Inter-state Border Affairs
- Immediate concurrence of 977 post of AAPBn (3rd batch), and
- Appointment of local panel of advocate (Arunachalee) for assisting Arunachal-Assam dispute case in Supreme Court of India.
Addressing the media AAPBSU President Tana Sunny Tara said that we have been pursuing these demand before the state government for last two years. Our demand are genuine and are in the greater interest of the state and its people. T
he people living on border area are suffering due to non responsive to our demand, several instances of border disputes have been taken place referring few like of Tarasso, Gumto, Bogoli-Denka, Kakoi, Dolungmukh, Likabali and several parts of state bordering Assam and others. The affected district of state are West Kameng, East Kameng, Papum Pare, Kmale, Lower Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Namsai, Tirap, Changlang and Longding and the people living in the border area know the pain and difficulty faced he observed.
Sunny said that Capital DC on Friday late evening inform that the government is considering the appointment of advocate panel which is still not clear and no document have been seen yet. several organisation use to carry rally from Akashdeep to IG Park on all official working day but we have been debarred and confined on same routs even on second Saturday being a holiday and no traffic problems and suspect political motive behind it and condemn it.
AAPBSU President Tana Suny Tara threatened to launch even rigorous democratic movement in support of three point charter of demand and can go for economic blockade, chakka bandh in the border area of state as a 1st phase after 30 days and later can go 12 hours capital bandh in 2nd phase and will continue for the democratic movement to press their demand with the government for a solution for the people of the border area.
