BSF Apprehends Woman Drug Smuggler

Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force apprehended one Woman Drug smuggler recently from bordering areas of District Dhubri (Assam) and Cooch Behar (West Bengal).
The Mahila constable of BOP Gitaldah of 124 Bn, BSF apprehended the woman drug smuggler along with 25 bottle of Phensedyl. During questioning, she confessed her involvement which was continuing for long period. The consignment was hidden beneath her apparel properly wrapped around her body and was seized during frisking by Mahila Constables. The apprehended trans-border criminals and seized items handed over to concerned agencies for further legal action.
In another incident from the same location the troops of BOP Lakhimari of 71 Bn BSF also apprehended three cattle smugglers with Cattles. The apprehended cattle smugglers have been identified namely as Mazrul Hoque, Jahmar Ali Sarkar and Arman Ali Sarkar. all threee are resdient of Lakhimari village under Golakganj police station . T
BSF troops of Guwahati Frontier also seized 84 cattle heads having approximate value of Rs 4,57,440/- on intervening night of 15/16 Feb 2017.
