The Narendra Modi Vichaar Manch, Arunachal Pradesh has felicitated women safai karmachari working under the department of urban development/IMC under the banner of “Shrest maatri samman samaroh” under swachhata abhiyan” at state Dorjee khandu conventional hall today.
Addressing the gathering former IMC Deputy Chief Councillor Tarh Nachung as chief guest said that all activities of the people should be attached with the social work and they should be united to all such work which are helpful in nature for other. We should work with a determination for swachhata hi seva and several other works for the wellbeing of we people.
Nachung briefed about Do’s and Don’t’s of the safai karmachari’s. He suggested them to work
at least for 8 hrs in a day so that our twin capital Itanagar & Naharlagun comes out dirt free cities. Hearing to the grievances placed by the representative of the women safai karmachari’s, he
promised to appraise the District Authority for the timely release of wages and appraise the state government for the regularization of the job
Guest of honour Urban Development Joint Director Nixon Lego, Resource Person emphasis on cleanliness of city and assures his support to the sanitary workers as and when required. He also brief about the role of Urban Development in the city plan and development.
SIRD Scientist-2 Tape Gap, Special Invitees Entrepreneur Lokam Anand, President (Mukhya Shakha) Sikka Gapak, General Secretary (Mukhya Shakha) Giamde Tamin, Vice President Lokam Tagiam also address the gathering.
The programme was attended by 47 No’s of Women Safai Karmachari’s and 6 No’s of Mate.
(Yuva Shakha) President Lori Mugli briefed about the activities of the organisation of eight activities which include Blood Donation Camp, Tree Plantation, Water Preservation, organising yoga camp for healthy life, Campaign on Organic Manure farming, Swachh Bharat Mission, Beti Padhao Beti Bachao and Nasha mukth Bharat and others.
All the Women 47 Safai Karmachari’s and the 6 Mates/supervisors present were felicitated with a certificate along with token of love as mark of respect for their selfless service to the society by Narendra Modi Vichar Manch
