Agreement signed for NH-415 from Chandanagar to Papu Nallah

The much awaited road constricted will be a dream for the people of Capital complex today when the agreement signed for the same by Highway Department.

The Agreement signed between M/S T K Engineering Consortium Pvt. Ltd and Chief Engineer (Highway) Western Zone. The agreement which shall be on EPC mode wherein the TK Engineering have to constrict four land road from Chandanagar to Papu Nallah (Jully Try junction) a distance of 10.9 KM at an estimated cost of One 196.16 cr.

The signatories who signed the agreement on behalf of Highway Chief Engineer Er. Toli Basar while General Manager (HQ) P K Roy signed on behalf of TK Engineering Consortium Pvt. Ltd.

The Dy Commissioner  Prince Dhawan said that today is a historic occasion and the dream of people to have a four land will now come true and it is an important step for it. we have been working stage wise for construction of four land in capital complex.

The first phase agreement is from Chandanagar to Papu Nallah. IN regards to vending zone there are many issues like compensation and mostly of them have taken up and few remain. we have made many awareness camp for ROW and vendors who are sitting on roadside for which we notified vending zones at Naharlagun and at Itanagar wherein they will be rehabilitated. We are in advance stage. We are going to announces in regards to payment of self demolition charge to those whom hearing have already been done and we are hopeful that government may announce their decision in this regard and the details will only be provided in mid of June next.

Executive Engineer cum Highway Administrator Nani Tath said that within fifteen days of this agreement the consultant of the company will submit their proposal (inventory) and accordingly other formalities will began by the executing agency.

TK Engineering Consortium Pvt. Ltd General Manager P K Roy while said that  There are lots of challenges as being the state capital but we are very positive and we will be doing it. we began our works from today and march toward a development of capital city four land road soon  with a quality.
