Taram inaugurates cultural cum food festival of Arunachal and Assam

The culture unite relationship and relationship maintain unity among two brothers between Arunachal-Assam to strength as the 2nd edition of the Inter-state cultural competition cum food festival of Arunachal and Assam to maintain peace and co-existence inaugurated here by the Parliamentary Secretary Home & Education Pani Taram amid huge gathering.
Inaugurating the function Taram said that numbers of tribes and community reside in our country right from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gujrat to Arunachal and inspite of various community, religion, culture and tradition we are one. Our country is unity in diversity.
It is a opportunity that such programme is being organised which foster the inter state cultural and traditional values among others. We have relationship among the various community with either side of the border for a peaceful co existence and tranquillity and communal harmony.
There may be pity difference but we are one and belongs to a family and we should not quarrel. If few disputes come up then there are many senior citizens , organisation and administration need to resolved all issue for brotherhood and communal harmony. We have created 20 police checkpost on the border in our side for maintenance of peace and tranquillity on the border.
The language spoken by different community on either side of the border are understood by the people and even matrimonial relationship shall unite and strengthened our relationship even more. he observed.
He warned those trouble makers to refrain from creating disturbances in pretext of pity and political issues across the border in the greater interest of people and appeal not to create any undue advantage of the stable government on both state.He appeal the SMC and PRI members to maintain the schools in the border area.
Refereeing to the memorandum Taram said that C/O Cycle stand, Prayer shed, Community Toilet, water supply connection, teaches common room at Hollongi Upper Primary School, Patila in the RE scheme of the 2017-18 while construction of Public Health Centre at Hollongi shall be taken up with local MLA for consideration., Taram said.
Taram said that we shall always maintain the peace and tranquillity and appeal one and all to understand each other for better relationship.
Guest of Honour Gohpur SDO (Civil) Dr. Indranasi Das said that the unity and solidarity of both state remain intact with such cultural programmes. She thanks the organising committee for such programme and hope that such programme is being organised at different parts of the border area of both state which unite the people to people for better co-existence.
Orient Charitable & Education Society and Organising committee Chairman President Yowa Bullet in his address said that we belongs to different tribes but staying in coexistence with communal harmony. He submitted a memorandum related to development of Hollongi area. He appeal one all to continue haply living with communal harmony with fostering the cultural exchange among different tribes of Arunachal and Assam in bordering area of both state.
Hollongi ASM and Organising Committee Secretary Nabam Rungkhi, Sub-Committee Secretary Kamal Horo, , Gohpur HSS Vice Principal Anil Boruah, Bodo students union Biswanath district committee leader Nijam Basumatary among other address the gathering.
Balijan ADC Chukhu Takar , All Assam Adibasi Students Union (AAASU) district President Aklus Karmakar, Retd Director Robin Bhuyan, Indian Idol top 10 Jely Kaye among other were present on the occasion.
Cultural troops of Adibasi, Nyishi, Karbi, Gorkha, Chakma, Assamese, Deori from Balijan, Lengka, Kokila, Rajghar, Gohepur, Hollongi and other nearly area of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh took parts in various cultural extravaganza at the celebration winch shall continue for a week.
The cultural programme and food festival shall continue to November 16.
Various eminent personalities are expected to take part every cultural night every evening. Large numbers of people from various parts of Hollongi, Lengka, Kokila, Balijan and various parts of Arunachal and Assam which include HODs, PRI leaders, Goan buras and other were present .
