New turn in TAH Scam: Minister Nabam Rebia warned, surrender illegal land compensation or face legal action.

The Land Management, Environment & Forest and SJETA Minister Nabam Rebia today warned to all those beneficiaries who have received land compensation without having even any structure to immediately surrender the compensation to the government or face legal action.
Rebia was addressing a huge gathering at Lumri in Yachuli Circle of 16th Yachuli Assembly constituency of Lower Subansiri district on the occasion of inauguration and dedication of Nelam Nedo football ground and Aab Teji Volley ball ground to public in the name of former DFO Banderdewa Late Neelam Nedo.
Rebia said that it is pain to hear about the so called land compensation scam of Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) which have brought a bad name not only in Yachuli, Lower Subansiri district and state but in other parts of state and we get shame for it.
There are several stretch of TAH in other parts of state which is going well and several have been completed and people of state are using and feeling happy to drive on good road but here on this stretch several beneficiaries have made hue and cry for land compensation and even having no structure many have received compensation which is illegal and they should without any delay should surrender the amount to the government or face legal action.
Illegal land compensation issue of this area is being raised by all including Governor, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, Union Minister of state Kiren Rijiju for the inconvenience faced by the general public and it a matter of great concern for all of use to have a good road in the area for the convenience and comfortable drive.

Recently Executive Member from Nyishi Elite Society (NES) Galo welfare society(GWS) , Tanw Supun Dukun (TSD) meet and discussed and I have informed them that the state government will naturally take action and all person involved in the case will be taken to task.
The report of 1st part from Potin to Joram Top have been received by the Fact Finding Committee (FFC) to the government, everything are there and the person who have arbitrarily taken the government many should surrender the fund and no one will be spared and everyone who have taken compensation without any structure should come up voluntary and surrender the fund without making any delay.
This act have brought bad name for our area which should not be repeated again as it is affecting the overall and all-round development as well as affecting the economic development of the people due to lack of proper and smooth road connectivity.
Talking to Arunachal24 Minister Rebia said that I will not reveal everything now. The state government will act basis on the report submitted by the FFC of Potin-Joram Top in Lower Subansiri district. other two parts are still to received and then I can say that how many compensation was taken arbitrary manner.
So far no FIR have been registered but he have directed DC to registered FIR and is upto them or by SIC. Government is fully determined to take firm action to all those involved in the illegal withdrawn of huge compensation.
Enough is enough and now action will be taken, but before all those who have taken land compensation without having any structure and withdrawn illegal compensation should surrender the fund to government or be ready to face legal action. Rebia added.
