Itanagar: A road becomes an obstacle between players and the game
How a road which is broken and full of pits became an obstacle between players and their activities—– read this story

Before starting our sports activities , we have to travel 3 km in a road which is very pathetic , broken full of pits, said some students of Sange Laden Sports Academy ( SLSA ). Many people have stopped to come here or become irregular here to work just because of fear of travelling in a broken road which is the only approaching road of SLSA, students added.
The local resident, officials and staffs of the directorates of Sports & Directorate of Youth Affairs, Sports Authority of Arunachal, students of Sange Laden Sports Academy ( SLSA ) demanding for immediate repair and maintenance of the approach road which connect the National Highway-415 in Chimpu.
More than four to five hundred local people are residing in the locality with more than 300-400 students and staffs of various department have to face lots of inconvenient as 3km long road is in pathetic condition and which need to immediate repairing and maintenance.
The SLSA is only sporting institute of the state where most of important activities of the games and sports takes place, recently the state government have also constructed two special artificial grass court for playing different games , but the road have not been repaired and remain in pathetic condition .
The locals said that they have approached to all authorities including the sports department, PWD department but no one take care of the said pathetic road condition with connect the lone sports academy of state.
However the locals hope that the new leadership under Pema Khandu may take care and appeal the state government and authority concern for repair and maintenance of the road from NH-415 to SLSA Chimpu at the earliest.
