Fourth Janta Darbar- CM attends 300 visitors, another 300 waits

The fourth Janta Darbar began today at Chief Minister’s official bungalow. At the time of filing this report, at least 300 people had met the Chief Minister Kalikho Pul in the session that started at 10 am today. Another 300 people are waiting outside the bungalow to meet the Chief Minister who has been queuing since early morning. The visitors while they wait are fed with snack, teas and fruit juices.
Secretary Planning Dr Joram Beda along with all officials and staffs of the Chief Minister’s Office are having a hectic day each assigned with respective roles to scrutinize documents, applications, retype applications, preparing note sheets etc.
Several medical related cases came whose applications have been put up for further action. On urgent medication attentions, the CM has asked the officials to speed up funds sanctions for meeting their medical treatment on time.
The other visitors include group of unemployed doctors, widows of state police force, handicapped association members etc. For paucity of time, the CM has assured to meet all these groups separately on another occasion to address their grievances fully.
The CM also met several severely handicapped patients and according to their employability skills have assured jobs in government departments.
