Arunachal: Taro Sindik Awarded with Sahitya Akademy Yuva Puruskar 2017

Taro Sindik declared winner of Sahitya Akademy Yuva Puruskaar 2017 for his book “AKSHARO KI VINTI (collection of hindi poem)”.
The award conferred by Sahitya Akademy , India’s National Akademy of letters , Ministry of Culture Govt of India . And the award was given away by Sahitya Academy President Vishwanath Prasad Tiwari at a function held at Randawa Auditorium, at Chandigadh, Punjab from 22nd to 23rd Dec.
Taro Sindik is second to recipient this prestigious literary award after Y D Thongchi from the state and first in north east India to get this award on behalf of Hindi language.
Taro Sandik, son of Late Tai Sindk and Late Yalung Singik aged around 30 years belongs to Tagin community a resident of Sippi village, Daporijo Circel in Upper Subansiri district, graduated in Hindi from DNGC and later master and M. Phil from Rajiv Gandhi University is a sincere and hardworking and devote his full time in the field of literature etc.
At present Sandik is serving as Assistant Professor in Hindi at Donyi Polo Government College Kamki in West Siang since 2010.
On his arrival at Naharlagun Railway Station today Sindik was given ward welcome by the team members and Executive Members of Arunachal Artist Forum led by Chief Advisor Bamang Loram, Vice Chairman (Admn) Taai Chali, Hindi Sansthan committee member Tai Tugung and others.
A release received from AAF Chief Advisor Bamang Loram said on behalf of people of state congratulated Taro Sandik on his conferment of Yuba Kavi award from state at the national platform and hope that it will an inspiration to the upcoming younger generation of state in time to come.
