Arunachal: KVK Namsai begins Skill Development Training
Total 40 trainees, 20 in each are participating in the training programme from different village of Namsai district.

Skill development training programme on Artificial Insemination and Quality seed grower has been successfully inaugurated at KVK Namsai with this objectives to transform the information into the gainful employment opportunities by unemployed rural youth in the area of Artificial Insemination technician and Quality Seed Grower.
Addressing the inauguration programme, Chief Guest Pro Chancellor, Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai Vishwalochan urged the trainees to avail this golden opportunity to sharpen their inner talent to harness the potential of available agricultural natural resources of Namsai district to generate income for self and provide employment to others.
Guest of Honour Prof. V.S. Devadas, Dean, Agriculture faculty, Arunachal University of studies, Namsai explained the present status and opportunities in agriculture and livestock sector in this area.
He also enlightened the participants that with by using the quality seeds and breeds we can surely increase the production upto 30 per cent. In this continuation, Col. (Dr.) Ivan Singh, has also shared experience of importance of Skill training on employment generation in Arunachal Pradesh and encouraged to the trainees to use it as carrier shaping opportunity.
Special Guest, Mr. S.K. Jawal, Assistant Director Fisheries, Namsai district elucidated the importance of quality seed in agriculture and fishery farming.
Special guest Himanshu Panchal, Deputy Registrar, Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai also appreciated the importance of the skill training and efforts of KVK to organized training in such a remote corner of the country.
Dr. Manish Kanwat, Senior scientist & Head, KVK, Namsai explained the purpose and importance of skill training and informed that, KVK, Namsai is first and single centre in Arunachal Pradesh who recognised and certified for imparting skill training to rural youth.
Course Director of both the trainings Dr. BKD Borah and Azizur Rahman, briefed about the training and purpose.
Course Coordinator Dr. Santosh Kumar also expressed well wishes and inspired for active participation of training during the technical course.
