Arunachal: BCT road closed due to land slide at several places
During the road closing hour BRTF is directed to take-up the road construction works on war footing to clean the mud & debris.

The west Kameng district administration have ordered for closing of the Balipara-Charduar-Tawang ( BCT ) road from May 10 to 12 in view of reported landslide at multiple point on the stretch.
A order issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner cum-Additional District Magistrate said that due to incessant rainfall, and land slide there are road blockage at multiple points on BCT Road. There is an apprehension of risk and safety to the commuters.
Therefore it is necessary that the BCT road shall be remain closed w.e.f. 10.5.2019 to 12.5.2019 (from 0600 hrs of 10.5.2019 to 2400 hrs of 12.5.2019). During the road closing hour BRTF is directed to take-up the road construction works by deploying maximum earth cutting machines and necessary manpower on war footing to clean the mud & debris.
Further the Police check posts at Bhalukpong & Nag Mandir shall strictly comply with the above directions and regulate traffic accordingly.
He further appeal the commuters to have patience during the cleaning of the debris as it is apprehension and may source of accident on the said strip.
