Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board shall always stand for welfare of workers community of state said its Chairman Jalley Sonam while addressing a function held here at its conference hall on October 18th .
Jalley Sonam said since his appointment to the posting of Chairman he have been associating with the various activities of the workers community and have been meeting several workers/labourers organisation of state and update himself and taking various decision in the interest of the workers community. Several items which have already been procured by the Board are being distributed and it would be done systematically in phase manners.
Sonam said that other items like solar lamp, blankets and TV set is being distributed in category wise to those only for capital complex specially form Itanagar in first row and then to other area and district wise.
He said I being a labour leader of state shall carry out several awareness programme in various district of state wherein spot registration of workers with health and medical awareness programme and distribution of items of beneficiaries would be done.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu and labour Minister Kumar waii direction to maintain the labour force as a part of state building shall be taken into consideration and the welfare measures of the Board will directly reach to the workers community and appeal the workers/labour/Trade Union leader to approach him related to any complaint and suggestion for strengthening of the board Sonam added.
250 TV sets were distributed on the occasion to the registered workers.
