Aalo- candles march in protest of murder of Migrik Lomi Karga at Lekhi

Thousands of people with candles marched in Aalo town on Saturday evening to protest the gruesome murder of Migrik Lomi Karga at Lekhi village on July 30.
They demanded that the perpetrator(s) of the crime must be brought to book within a week and the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case must not be engaged in other cases so that the IO can dedicate his/her full-time on the case.
Paktu Ao Youth Welfare Association, which led the protest march, demanded a SIT or CBI probe into the case and immediate announcement of compensation to the family of the victim under Arunachal Pradesh Victims Compensation Act 2011.
