Tawang: 4th Edition of Hangpan Dada Memorial trophy concludes

The 4th Edition of Hangpan Dada Memorial trophy for (under 18 Boys and girls) Football and volley ball tournament at District Level of Tawang district concluded today at School Ground of Tawang Public School Lemberdung.
The final Football match of Under 18 HDMT at district level was played between PP-XI, champion of Tawang Constituency level, and United Football club Jang, Constituency level Champion of Mogto Constituency.
Tsering Tashi, MLA Tawang and DC Tawang Sang Phuntsok, witnessed the match as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. SP Tawang B.Kamduk, Addl.DC Tawang Lobsang Tsering other HODs and Ex PRI Members Namgey Tsering , Shri Dorjee Norbu and others were also present.
The tournament at District level began on 11th of this month amongst the champions of Constituency level, whereas the tournament at Constituency level for Lungla Constituency started from 2nd of Dec, at Mogto constituency, the tournament started from 5th of Dec, and constituency level tournament for Tawang Constituency began from 3rd Dec 2019.
In the district level Football played between PP-XI Tawang and United Football Club Jang, The constituency Champion of Mogto Constituency, United Football Club Jang won the 4th HDMT with INR 50,000/-cash prize for Under 18 Boys match by, 1-0. In volley ball under 18 Boys Ketchengha Team won the trophy and cash INR.50,000/- against Govt. Hr. Sec School Lungla by 2-0. In football under 18 Girls KGBV Lungla won the trophy with cash prize of INR 50,000/- against KGBV Kangteng by 4-0., and in Volleyball under 18 Girls KGBV Lungla won the trophy with Cash Prize of INR 50,000/-against KGBV Kangteng.
Master Phurpa Gombu from United Football Club Jang has been adjudged as best Footballer in district level while Ms.Lobsang Lhamu from KGBV Lungla has been given the title and cash prize of INR 7000/- each for best Footballer boys and Girls respectively. Master Passang Gombu from Ketchengha is given the trophy and prize for Best Volleyball Player and Ms Tashi Eton from KGBV Lungla as Best Volleyball player with trophy and cash prize of INR.5000/- each respectively in Boys and Girls category in district level tournament.
