SSB Organised Rally on Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abhiyan

Two days Samajik Chetna Abhiyan of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao has been organised by 16 Bn SSB Ranighuli in association with the Song and Drama Division Guwahati at Ultapani and Dadgiri villages respectively on 24th and 25th December.
During the program Daneswar Goyari, Sports and Cultural Minister, BTC Kokrajhar and Dhiraj Basnet, Chairman , VCDC, Dadgiri were the chief guests respectively. Special Dances of Bodo, Bihu and Drama on Beti Bachao have been shown by the song and drama division, Guwahati in both locations and villagers and students were very impressed and motivated.
Volley Ball matches of 12 clubs participated, Quiz competition among school children, Cultural dance competition among school children and villagers held and all participants have been given prizes by the chief Guest and special guests. Medical and veterinary civic actions have been organised with the services of Medical Doctors from Army of Kokrajhar and Kajalgaon as well as the RNB Hospital , Kokrajhar and a large villagers and students got medical facilities.
Dr Manas Barman, AC/ Vety of 16 Bn , Dr Arif, Army , Dr Patil , Army and Dr UC Barman , RNBto Hospital toook part in the medical and veterinar civic actions and benefited to more than 460 patients and 278 domestic animals. The aim and objectives of the programmes have been fulfilled with foot really on roads of Ultapani on beti bachao and beti padhao with slogans on Swachh bharat abhiyans.
Goyari conveyed special thanks to SSB and song and drama division for organising such special programs in the remote areas along Bhutan border.
Dhiraj chairman, VCDC Dadgiri also expressed special gratitude to SSB and the Song and Drama division for organising samajik Chetna Abhiyan which helped poor and illiterate villagers along the border.
The programs have been more colourful with the active participation from the Army of Sikhli and Rajput as their officers and jawans from Khungring and Ultapani. A special program have been shown by the Youth party of Orchestra team of the Dadgiri on 25/12/16 on modern songs of Hindi and Nepali. The whole programs have been successfully organized by the welcome speech of the commandant AK C Singh, 16 Bn SSB followed by the Vote of Thanks by the Dy Commandant , Jasbir Singh.
