District level Cricket and Chess tournament held at Kurung Kumey and Kra Daddi districts on Saturday. 11th kurung kumey Inter District level cricket tournament was held on 18th to 23rd November 2017 at general ground Upper Nyapin of kurung kumey district which is headed by Nyapin sports club. During the tournament the 7th team of various circle and club of within the district has been take as a participants. And pani anjuna sports club v/s sakar sadang cricket club both team has playing the final day of tournament on 23rd November 2017. Pani Anjuna sports club became champion and sakar sadang cricket club got runners up. Prize money 1st prize two lakhs with trophy, 2nd prize one lakh,
Kra Daadi District chess tournament
1st ever Kra Daadi District chess tournament was today inaugurated by Rido Tabiu, a young entrepreneur as a chief guest in presence of Kipa Raja, circle officer Tali. he tournament is being observe by arbiter from state level namely Tapi Shah and Taba Anam. All total 36 players participated in the tournament.
While inaugurating the tournament Rido Tabiu appreciated the organising committee specially to Kra Daadi district chess association for conducting such important tournament which will pave way for younger generation to pick up this mind game. He also encouraged the players to carry on playing this mind game.He also donated a Sum of Rupees one Lac towards the association fund.
Tassar Mohan, president Kra Daadi District Chess Association delivered his presidential speech. He informed that players who playing Chess in the rural area to get sports quota in govt job. He also highlighted the ups and down faced by the association.
