Oti Sitang Eko received progressive farmer Mushroom grower award

Oti Sitang Eko wife of Tasing Sitang Eko, CCF (HQ) Arunachal Pradesh was awarded progressive farmer award by Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), Mushroom Research Directorate, Chambagahat, Solan Himachal Pradesh on September 10.
The award was presented by former Member of Parliament Suresh Sandil at a national level function for mushroom growers (National Mushroom Mela-2017) of 5 states of Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Kerala, Punjab and Haryana were present held at ICAR Solan Campus
She was presented with citation and cash reward as a token for rendering her services in this field.
Eko a permanent resident of Pasighat, East Siang district have been cultivating mushroom for many years and at present she is cultivating mushroom and promoting the mushroom growing in the area and the consumption is also being arranged through local committee where she is a member.
