Bomdila- 9 Days legal service awareness camp concludes

The west Kameng District legal Service Authority has conducted 9 day long door to door campaign in order to create legal awareness among people from 9th November 2017 to till 18th in all the villages of the District concluded today.
West kameng District legal Services Authority, Chairman Gote Mega along with Advocates and Staff of Additional, District and session court Bomdila conducted one day long legal awareness camp at 14th Mile ( Darbu village ) Dirang sub division.
Gote Mega spoke on the topic of Function of DLSA, Poverty Alleviation program etc. President Bomdila Bar Association Khamu Desisaw spoke on the topic of child labour, local issues, land disputes, role of PRI in rural development.
Gen Secy Bomdila Bar Association Gombu Tsering Gonpapa spoke on the topic POCSO, child marriage and Right to education act 2009.
Retainer lawyer Advocate Atum Lamnio spoke on the topic of Legal Aid clinic, its function in public interest.
Remand lawyer Kamla Dewan spoke on the topic of domestic violence, women empowerment and anganwadi program.
ZPM Thembang block Jam Tsering Dirkhipa and President Shartang Elite Society Jellu Mosidu also spoke on this program.
The Bar Association of Bomdila and Para Legal volunteers are participated in entire program for mass awareness tot he villagers and PRI members.
