Arunachal Pradesh lost a Great Visionary and Statesman- JP Rajkhowa

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, who is on  leave as on today Mr  JP Rajkhowa has condoled the demise of former chief minister Late Kalikho Pul.

In his condolence letter to Mrs Dangwimsai Pul, wife of Late Mr Kalikho Pul the Governor Mr  Rajkhowa expressed shock and deeply grieved the sudden and untimely demise of former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh under tragic and mysterious circumstances.

With his demise the state of Arunachal Pradesh has lost a great visionary leader and a Statesman who worked selflessly and relentlessly for all round development and welfare of the State and its people, mentioned in the latter.

further it was mentioned in the latter, that the Late Mr  Pul served the State and the people over his long political career being a five time MLA from the same Hayuliang constituency with distinction both as a legislator and later as the Chief Minister. His devotion and untiring selfless service in the interest of the common people made him stand the tallest among his peers.

Recalling the contributions of Late Pul and his personal interactions with him, the Governor Mr  Rajkhowa mentioned  that during his short tenure as the Chief Minister, Late Mr  Pul was successful in taking forward the pace of development and welfare activities to new heights. And at the same time could touch the hearts of the people through his compassionate and benevolent initiatives.

The Governor mentioned  that Late Pul worked day and night for the benefit of the common men, poorest of the poor and also solved many problems of the people, govt. employees and other stakeholders with utmost promptitude and a very high sense of compassion. With a spell of about 5 months, Late MrPul could earn the distinction of being the most popular and people friendly Chief Minister, the Governor pointed.

“I and my wife Mrs Rita Rajkhowa, with profound grief, join the people of Arunachal Pradesh in paying our respectful homage to Mr  Kalikho Pul and conveying our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and all other members of the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul. We also pray to the God for bestowing you and all other family members with the necessary courage, strength and determination to bear the irreparable loss”, Mr Rajkhowa wished.
