As the stage is set for the April 11 simultaneous Assembly and Parliamentary polls spread across 35 (thirty five) polling stations under 44th TEZU – SUNPURA ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCY in Lohit District, Prince Dhawan (IAS) DC cum DEO informed that entire election process with full proof security has been made in all the Polling Stations to ensure smooth conduct of the poll.
We have installed CCTV, Video Cameras recording of entire poll process, adequate security forces, electricity, potable water and toilets as well as other necessary requirement in respective polling stations for smooth polling, reports the DEO further.

Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs has already been carried out in presence of the general observers, expenditure and police observer and representatives of the political parties, he informed while adding that the constituency randomization of polling teams against each polling station has been done in front of general observer and the political parties.
VVPAT machine is a device which dispenses a slip with the symbol of the party for which a person has voted. The slip appears on a small window for seven seconds and then drops in a box. The voter cannot take it home.
EVMs and VVPAT machines would be used in the polls. Around 18644 electorates including 9476 male and 9168 female will decide the faith of both the trio contestant in Assembly Constituency for MLA and five number of contestant in 2nd East Parliamentary Constituency for MP on April 11.
