Arunachal polls: Polling personnel’s and materials reached to polling station- Adl CEO

There are  2202 polling station across the state and all total 181 candidate for assembly is contesting from various political party in 57 assembly constituency

Polling personnel’s and polling materials reached to their respective polling station  and  state is  ready for simultaneous poll will be held  on April 11 in Arunachal Pradesh. Polling will takes from 7 am to 4 pm.

Additional Chief Election officer (Adl CEO) Kanki Darang inform that polling personnel with security personnel and polling materials have already reached all respective polling station across the state.

There are  2202 polling station across the state and all total 181 candidate for assembly are contesting from various political party in 57 assembly constituency while three remain unopposed.

11 women candidates are also trying their luck.  Seven candidate are in fray in 1 Arunachal West parliamentary constituency while five are in  Arunachal East parliamentary constituency respectively. the area which were not accessible by road were transported by helicopter sortie  he said.

Border have been sealed and elaborate security arrangement have been made as per requirement at district level.

Video conferencing is being established with district counterpart, CCTV have been installed in many polling station, offline recording will also be done for which video camera and digital camera have also been provided and live screening have already been done.

Presiding officer have been given with mobile handset and wireless set by with they will try to remain connected with the Nirvachan bhawan here.

City SP Tumme Amo inform that all seventy two polling  station of 13 Itanagar assembly constituency and eight polling station in (Banderdewa Circle ) of 14 Doimukh  assembly constituency are under the domination of Capital police.

He said that the capital complex have been converted into four zones headed by Zonal magistrate with 1 Dy.SP level officer and a sector magistrate and security personnel have been deployed for smooth and peaceful election on April 11.

Further, he has also directed that all the border Nakas/Picket of Itanagar Capital Complex shall be sealed from 7 am to 5 pm on 11/04/2019 to avoid entry of bogus /duplicate voters in Itanagar Capital Complex and to ensure free & fair elections.
