Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society ( APWWS )  has requested to the state government to extend financial support to Bini Tudum who was seriously injured when an Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter plane dropped a bomb during their routine exercise on Ruyu village in Dollungmukh circle of Kamle district on June 8 last.

A retired SSB soldier, Tudum is currently admitted at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun.

A team of APWWS visited Tudum on Thursday  at the hospital to enquire about his health.

The relatives attending on him informed the team that other than help from individuals, there has been no offer of help from the state govt or  IAF authorities.

The family informed that IAF personal had visited Tudum in the hospital but the family have not heard from them again.

APWWS  also requested to state government to take up the issue with the IAF authorities.
