Arunachal: Khandu takes part in ‘Asthi Kalash Yatra’ of former PM Atal Behari Vajpayee
Chief Minister Pema Khandu along with hundreds of well wisher today took part in Asthi Kalash Yatra of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu today took part in Atal Asthi Kalash Yatra along with hundreds of well wishers and attended the condolence meeting in memory of late Atal Behari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India held here at Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre.
Khandu paid tribute to the departed soul by offering floral tribute and prayed for peace of the soul.
He described former PM as the one who had the ability to bring harmony among all parties – ruling and opposition. He said this was visible from the way leaders from both sides of the aisle came together to pay tribute to the great soul.
He also lauded the Vajpayee for successfully conducting the Pokhran Nuclear tests in 1998 by evading every surveillance and spy network of the foreign powers.
Khandu credited the former PM with many important schemes and programmes such as launch of PMGSY, establishment of DONER ministry, introducing the BADP programmes, SSA scheme etc.
