Six person injured while one critically in a road accident on Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) , Papu Nallah-Potin road near Mani Village in Doimukh circle today afternoon.
Doimukh police station OC, B. Tangzang inform that there have been a head-on collision road accident between two vehicle near Mani village in Doimukh circle today afternoon.
One red colour vehicle bearing registration No- AR 02 6020 was coming from Ziro and proceeding toward Itanagar while Grey and dark colour vehicle bearing registration No- AR 01 J 9314 was on its way toward Yazali and coming from Itanagar which got head on collide and injuring almost all the passengers of both vehicle. The impact of so intense that the air bag of both vehicle come out. Six person received injuries of which four are grievously. One person stated to be in critical condition. OC said.
All the injured person have been evacuated to Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS) Naharlagun while the critically injured person have been shifted to RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar. OC inform.
A case have been registered vide Doimukh PS Case No-33/19 u/s-279, 338, 427 IPC and investigation have been launched to ascertain the cause of accident. Meanwhile the vehicle have been removed from the road and Motor vehicle officer/Inspector have been informed who will verify the vehicle tomorrow. Tangzang added.
