In his maiden meeting with the top ranking bureaucrats of the state led by Chief Secretary Shakuntala Gamlin, Chief Minister took stock of the Information Technology development in the state. It is first time in the history of the state that the Governments has clear vision and intentions to make Information Technology a driving force for all round development of Arunachal Pradesh.
He said his govt will mainly focus on infrastructure, social sectors, maintain transparency and check corruption. Unleashing his priorities, Pema said harnessing of rich natural resources of the state including tourism potential, hydro power, agriculture & horticulture sectors would be given top most importance. His govt will also give emphasis on employment generation of the youths involving private entrepreneurship.
He said the present team of legislators will work as a team in unison to take forward the state in the path of development and expressed hope that with the support and guidance of senior and experienced leaders, they will try giving a stable govt to the people of the state.
While saying that he will go to the details of every department on one to one basis to know about the developmental aspect as well as exact position of the departments, he called upon the top bureaucrats of the state to extend full cooperation and to work in coordination to take the state to newer heights of development.
Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein speaking on people’s speculation of the young age of the chief minister said, “though he is young but his thoughts are quite mature” and said, “he has a clear vision for the state and its people”.
He further said, “Our govt will work with proper planning and ensure financial stability”. He also called upon the Bureaucrats, Technocrats, NGOs and civil societies to support and cooperate with the new govt in its endeavour to bring over all development of the state.
