Young entrepreneur Likha Maj today announced for construction of 200 bedded girls hostel in the capital complex for the students belongs to Ziro-II area and studying in various colleges in the capital, subject to availability of land for the purpose.
Maj was addressing the XVth coordination committee meeting and fresher’s meet cum interaction programme of Ziro –II collegian coordination committee (ZCCCI) here at Siddhartha Hall which was attended by students from various colleges in capital complex and other eminent personalities of Ziro-II area of Lower Subansiri district.
Maj while assuring to construct 200 bedded girls hostel keeping in account of the security reason of girls, he also assured to sponsor the carrier guidance and counselling programme for the students of the area for next three years.
He said that as the election of the next assembly is knocking at the door and every where there are politic end appeal the students community to leave away from such activities and concentrate in their academic c activities.
A student have to first complete the career and become an icon or achiever like many have achieved and reached the goal by cracking IAS/IPS/APPSC and several other designation and the community are proud of them.
Knowledge is power of life which shall remain till death and appeal the students community to enrich with full knowledge of books and curricular activities so that they will went out to serve the society and support the family and community for economic sustainability and all round development. Maj added.
IPS Tusar Taba speaking as resource person said that falling and rising are two sequence of life, if one correct themselves of the mistake done before it is too late then he/she will certainly rise and become an icon and achiever.
While elaborating his experience since his school days Tusar said that one should study with a determination and having passion, sincerity and destination will be nearer to achievement.
He emphasis the youths to become ‘SMART’, S- work for specific goal, M-he should plan as the goal can be measured as per qualification and ability, A-attainable and concentration for study and work, R-the ambition should be relevant to all including family friend and society, T-it should be time bound and the target should also reach timely if the person is qualified timely.
Among other senior officer Toko Anuj, youth leader Toko Teki, AYSU President Bhat Tolu, Yachuli area Collegian Coordination Committee Co Convenor Nabam Tajum among other also address the gathering.
Several programmes which include cultural and other discussion related to career oriented and education issues were discussed on the occasion.
