Itanagar: training programme on ‘online building permission system’

The programme is based on specific materials developed by IIPA on the issue related to new initiative on OBPS launched by GOI.

The three days training on ‘Online building permission system’ (OBPS) for engineer, architect, town planner and officer from fire & Emergency services began here today at DK Convention centre wherein more than thirty (30) official attending the training and workshop.

Director (Town Planning & Urban Local Bodies) Sukhvinder Singh inform that “the programme is being held to enrich the engineers, architects, officers of Town planning, Urban local bodies, Fire & Emergency services with latest technologies to deal with several dos and donts of building bye laws in view of providing permission for construction of building”.

The three days training programme is being sponsored by Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India and Department of Town Planning & Urban Local Bodies, Government of Arunachal Pradesh and supported by TCPO, Government of India, New Delhi.

The training programme is being organized by Centre of Urban Studies, Indian institute of Public Administration (IIPA).

The inaugural session was inaugurated by Secretary (UD) S K Jain today morning while inaugural session was addressed by Dr. Kusum Lata & Dr. Saket Bihari of IIPA.

The three days training programme on Improvement on construction permit, hands on software, national urban innovation stack, operationalisation of online building permission system, practice of software, feedback, question and answer session, Singh said.

The programme is based on specific materials developed by IIPA on the issue related to new initiative on OBPS launched by GOI.
