India Army Gunned Down Four Terrorist, Lost one Havaldar in Naugam Sector

Indian Army Gunned down Fourt Terrorist, when  they attempting infiltration in the forward area of Naugam Sector ( in Jammu Kashmir ) on early hours of 26 May 2016. However, in this engagement, an Indian Army Havaldar JD Hangpandade, sacrificed his life. Havaldar JD Hangpandade hailed from Arunachal Pradesh. Bodies of these terrorists were recovered from the site along with four AK 47 Rifles, ammunition and other warlike stores.

Troops deployed in the forward area of Naugam sector observed the movement of a group of terrorists on the early morning of 26 May2016. The counter infiltration grid was reinforced while the terrorists were kept under constant surveillance till they could be effectively engaged. Braving all odds of extremely harsh weather and difficult terrain the Army troops successfully eliminated four terrorists and foiled the infiltration bid.

CM Pul salutes martyr Hangpang Dade

Chief Minister Kalikho Pul has deeply mourned the demise of 36 yr old Havildar Hangpang Dade of Borduria village who was posted with 35 Rashtriya Riffles, Indian Army from the Assam Regiment .

In his condolence message to the great soldier’s family, Pul said, “I am shocked over the tragic news of the death of a true martyr of the nation who gave his life guarding the nation’s border.

Meanwhile, the chief minister has announced ex-gratia to the family members of Havildar Hangpang who is survived by wife Chasen Lowang, daughter Roukhin and 6 year old son Senwang.

One brave heart of Army who led his team and brought effective fire on the terrorists got profusely injured during the gun fight while displaying indomitable courage. While being evacuated to Army Base Hospital the brave heart succumbed to his injuries and made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Search of the area was undertaken today morning and four dead bodies along with Four AK-47, ammunition and other warlike stores were recovered. Identity of the terrorists is yet to be ascertained.

Havildar JD Hangpandade, a gritty soldier from the Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh who led his team and brought  effective fire  on the terrorists to pin them down got  grievously injured during the fire fight. While being evacuated to the Army Hospital, the brave heart succumbed to his injuries and made the  supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
