Arunchal Vikash Parishad organized Free Medical Camp
Changlang
Free Medical Camp was organized by Arunachal Vikas Parishad, Changlang District unit from 20th October to 25th October 2016. During the long consecutive 6 days Free Medical Camp total number of 972 patients with different physical problems were treated.
During the camp at different locations the doctors have found the common illnesses among the villagers to be gastroenteritis. Mostly among the adults whom the doctors had suggested to bring changes in their eating habits which includes timely eating habits, nutritious vegetable diets which are available in every households.
The other major common health problems found in some of the villages were body ache, skin diseases, malnutrition among the children, Eye sight problems among teenage girls mostly observed in KGBV schools at Lunglong village under Kantang circle in Changlang district, night blindness was another common complaints among elderly folks to whom the physicians have suggested them to increase their Green leafy vegetable intake, besides papaya, carrot etc. in their diets.
Dr. Anil Joshi (MD), Dr. (Mrs.) Joshi Jyoti, (Anesthesia), Dr. Vijay Rangnathrao Deshpande (Physiology) , Dr. R. B. Mishra, MBBS, State Health in-Charge AVP, Dr. Pukam Tangha, MO of CHC Manmao and Dr. Munlop Jongsam, MO District Hospital Changlang cum District Health In charge AVP participated in the yeoman services.
The AVP Changlang District Unit extended their heartfelt thanks to those team of doctors from Maharashtra who have contributed so much in this medical campaign for the welfare of the people of Changlang district besides District Administration and Distroct Medical Officer without whom the campaign wouldn’t have been possible opined Mr. Munsam Zongsam, General secretary, AVP, district unit.
