A youth died and suspected to be a case of hit and run. capital police under investigation and the mystery is immediately unearthed.
City police chief Tumme Amo inform that today at wee hours at around 1.30 AM a information was received from public that a man is lying on pool of blood near ziro Point Tinali on National Highway-415. On receipt of information the police team of Itanagar police station led by ASI AK Jha rushed to the spot and take away the injured person . He was taken to RK Mission Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A purse containing an adhar card, a pan card and some case was recovered which was later handed over to the family members. The deceased was identified a Dado Dayo, 29 years of village Dado under Palin Circle of Kra Daadi district. A preliminary enquiry was made and the matter was informed to the deceased family in capital complex who reached the Itanagar police station today. Amo said.
After registering a case, the postmortem was conducted and the body have been handed over to the family members for conducting last rite. He said.
