Don Bosco Alumni programmes and activities is much better in Arunachal Pradesh because here the Alumnis are not involving in politics, Said APCC president and a Don Bosco Aluminus Takam Sanjay , while addressing the Annual General Meeting 2017 of Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur Province held at Tadar Tanyang hall on Saturday.
Past pupils of Don Bosco are very clear in their culture and in their thought because in my opinion the Fathers and Brothers of Don Bosco are very strict in school discipline, added Mr Sanjay.
Mr Sanjay is also an aluminus of Don Bosco Shillong. Remembering his old days, He said only bureaucrats and technocrats could think of sending their children to Shillong, because the means of communication between Shillong and Arunachal was limited in those days.
During those days there was apropoganda against Donbosco and Children thought that if they went to Shillong, father would ask them to go church but today that propoganda has disappeared and people are very much aware that Don bosco is an educational institution where their children can get good and quality education, said Mr Sanjay
Mr Sanjay appealed to the Itanagar unit of Alumni to spread out their wings to remote areas of Arunachal like Palin, daparijo and work for the development of the society and also asked past pupils to come forward and help in this endeavour.
