Arunachal: Trader’s mother death mourned
Pista Devi Agarwal, mother of ACCI executive member Ajay Agarwal, who passed away at Niba Hospital on Saturday.

Business community of Naharlagun and Nirjuli led by Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ACCI) president Tarh Nachung paid their last respect to Pista Devi Agarwal, mother of ACCI executive member Ajay Agarwal, who passed away at Niba Hospital here around 7.30 am on Saturday.
She died due to old age ailments at the age of 85 and is survived by four sons and three daughters. Agarwal has been serving the state for over three decades.
As the news spread, businessmen made a beeline to the hospital. State BJP vice president Kipa Babu joined the mourners while local MLA Techi Kaso, ACCI chief adviser Pradeep Kumar, IPR secretary Toko Prakash and members of BWC paid their last respect to her mortal remains before being taken to Tinsuika by an ambulance for the last rites. AAI vice president Azad Bagang accompanied them to Tinsukia.
Naharlagun and Nirjuli traders downed their shutters during 12 noon to 3 pm at the directive of Naharlagun BWC VP Tadar Sima and Nirjuli BWC VP Tarh Tamey to respect the departed soul and joined the bereaved family to pray for here eternal peace.
