Arunachal governor JP Rajkhowa removed from his Post

The President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday directed Arunachal Pradesh Governor J.P. Rajkhowa to be removed from his post. Rajkhowa shall cease to hold the office of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, informed through a press release issued from Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Governor of Meghalaya, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh are made, further it was added in the press release.
