Dy chief minister Chowna Mein visited the drug de-addiction camp at Mahadevpur on Sunday, which is being jointly organised by Women Welfare Association of Narcotics Cell, Mahadevpur, Arunachal Pali Vidyapeeth, Chongkham and Anti-Drugs Action Committee, Namsai.
He met the patients undergoing treatment at the camp and encouraged them to undergo the necessary treatment there in order to overcome addiction and start leading vibrant lives. He assured to look into the request for financial assistance for the camp.
Mein said that the need of the hour is every patients should undergo the necessary treatment in order to overcome addiction and start leading vibrant lives.
“My appreciation and hearty congratulations to the Women Welfare Association of Narcotics Cell,Mahadevpur, Arunachal Pali Vidyapeeth,Chongkham and Anti-Drugs Action Committee, Namsai for successfully conducting the much needed camp in Namsai District” , he added.
