Rally against sexual exploitation in Churachandpur

Hundreds of parents, students and women folks took part in a mass rally organised by All tribal women Union (ATWU) against sexual exploitation in Churachandpur.
More than 300 people took part in the demonstration against gender violence sexual degradation following one of Diesel Auto driver who try to kidnapped three sisters who are way back home from their school, and gang rape of the class IV studying teenager by her uncle in Churachandpur town.
Another incident was occurred in Sunday night ah Singngat sub division headquarter that Cindy was rape by one Tangnuam villager.
The protesters carried banners reading ‘against rapists’, ‘together we’re stronger’ and ‘we’re all bleeding’ ‘court the culprits’ etc and they march toward Deputy Commissioner office from District hospital morgue through the main streets of the town.
Among the many protesters who shouted slogans like “we want justice,” there was a young girl who had come with her 8-year-old sister. A poster in her hands read – “Shame, Shame. Save My Little Sister.”According to Police report, rapist of the two incident are arrested and they are in Police Custody but the Auto Driver who try to kidnapped three sister last week has not been arrested so far.
