The thrilling two semi final matches of Late W Pongte Memorial Tournament was played between United Miao Football Club and Khuchep Football Club where the former defeated the later by two goals against nil and confirm their berth for final match to be played after few days and in another match.
The second semi was played between Bordumsa FC versus Kharsang Football Club where the former defeated the later by three goals against one at the Changlang general ground today.
The second semi final match was much more competitive than the first semi final match, that was worth enough to be enjoyed by the entire spectators.
Now the final match will be played between the Bordumsa Fc versus the United Miao Football Club in a few days from now.
The entire matches was witnessed by officers as well as by public leaders, it seem the sports have already won over the hearts of the department of sport in the district. It was amazing to see the local BJP representative Mr. Tesam Pongte interacting with the players during the half times of the matches encouraging them to be spirit filled maintaining the sportsmen spirits throughout the course of the matches.
