Minister Nabam Rebia alongwith team of officers led by Capital Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan, SP M Harsha Vardhan, Banderdewa PS OC Inspector Kiksi Yangfo and others today carried out inspection to the damaged Police Out Post at Chessa in Bandederdewa Circle and take stock of the situation and also discuses with the locals there and requested them to maintain peace and tranquillity and brotherhood among the people.

Rebia while talking to media said that the suspected have already been identified and police may arrest them shortly. Such act of damaging of public property by people from across the boundary is not justified only on presumptions. We are planning for its renovation and up gradation after a proper meeting with district and police department soon.

On the pathetic condition of the Rajghar (Ali) road between Arunahal-Assam from Pichola and Hollongi Rebia said that  ” A case is lying pending in Supreme Court of India. But we will not let it in this condition . I have taken up the issue with the ministry.

Capital SP M Harsha Vardhan informed that due to presumption on a rape case which  took place  on August 18, a mob have vandalised the Chessa Police Out Post in Arunachal Pradesh.

The accused in the rape and murder of 7 years school going girl have been arrested by Assam Police. whatever was possible from our side was supported to Assam police in this case. SP said.

However  the case of vandalising the Out Post  which was registered at Banderdewa Police Station was not taken up as due to law and order problems in the area after the incident. We have identified the accused and shortly we will arrest them. SP added.

Meanwhile the locals of the area have appeal the administration for increasing of strength of the OP and providing of protection and boundary wall across the police outpost urgently.
