On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, school children from VKV and Abotani Vidya Niketan, including members of Brahmakumaris and BJP Mahila Morcha tied ‘rakhi’ on the wrist of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
The school children came in queues to tie rakhi and offered flowers and sweets to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister overwhelmed with the love and affection gifted the children with gift and sweet packets.
The Chief Minister in his interaction with school children advised them to preserve and respect their ancient culture and tradition. He asked them never to give up their tribal dialect, customs and tradition in the face of modernity.
The Chief minister blessed the children and conveyed his best wishes to everyone on the occasion.
