There is nothing to be panic, there was a crisis of fuel in the capital complex and papum pare district for few days but we have sufficient stock of both diesel and petrol. Said IOC Area Sales Officer,(RS), Naharlagun (RSA) Tage Nobin.
Nobin said that there was a problem in lifting of supply from Digboi and other parts of Assam but due to ongoing movement by various organization it was badly affected.
Even in case of non received of load supply several Retail outlet have been able to give fuel to the needy consumers but there was huge rush due to rumor mongers. Nobin said.
On Thursday two trip of HSD was lifted from Emchi and as of now Nine tankers have lifted out from Emchi depot and being distributed to various Retail Depot of capital complex.
As on today there are 4769 KL which can go for around 35 days 980 KL of petrol which can be utilized 25 days. We have around 7 tankers with us and we will use the services of these tankers for lifting of fuels for various Retail Depot in capital complex and papum pare district.
Since the tankers are lifting HSD and when they began with lifting of petrol they can also lift petrol from tomorrow and hope that the crisis like situation immediately finished.
Nobin further appeal the consumers not to create panic even there are some problem. He said every problem has a solution but need patience. All the problem have arise due to protest and bandh in Assam and lifting could not takes place due to law and order problem. He said everything would be shorted out and hope the problem is resolved.
Meanwhile, Capital district administration has issue and order stating to remain calm and do not give in to panic and rumours of shortage of POL and ration.
A order issued on Friday said that the normal supply of HSD(Diesel) will resume from 13.12.2019. IOCL main depot Emchi, Doimukh has sufficient stock to cater central Arunachal Pradesh including Capital Complex for more than two months. As on 12/12/2019 at 5pm IOCL Depot has 45 Lakhs liters of HSD.
A Tezu report said that Petrol, Diesel and other LPG availability are out of stock as regular supply from Digboi Refineries are completely failed to cater the essential services following continuing agitation against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 in Assam.
However, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) equally ran out of stock due to Duliajan refilling plant also marred with CAB agitation. “We already distributed 600 to 700 liters of fuels to the consumers who made beeline yesterday to refill their vehicles. According to government order and chief secretary direction the DC Lohit has taken over the POL supply to meet up the emergency and maintaining law & order situation”, disclose Tomo Gamlin DFCSO Lohit.
Meanwhile report of fuel and LPG scarcity in various parts of state is coming which include Koloriang, Seppa, Ziro, Daporijo, Deomali, Khonsa and other place.
