Impact of Aruncahal24’s article- N.F.Railway felicitates Laimwm Narzary

Our news portals ( www.arunachal24.in and www.nesamachar.in ) recently published an article enumerating the achievement of Ms. Laimwn Narzary who created a new national High jump record but was awaiting recognition from the government. Having tried to make the story of a struggling sportsperson reach the light of day, our coverage of her achievement seems to have borne fruit as the N.F. Railway has decided to felicitate the young sportsperson for her achievement
General Manager, N.F.Railway Chahatey Ram today felicitated Ms. Laimwn Narzary, who brought glory to N.F.Railway by winning Gold Medal by creating a new National Record in High Jump in the recently concluded “15th Federation Cup National Junior Athletics Championship, 2017” held at Lucknow.

By jumping 1.77 mts she broke the 25 yrs old National Record of 1.75 mts of Bobby Aloysiuss from Delhi. Ms. Laimwn Narzary works as a Technician in the Signal & Telecom Dept of N.F.Railway HQ, Maligaon.
Prior to this, she also won Gold Medal during the 14th Federation Cup National Junior Athletics Championship held at Bangalore in 2016 and 12th National Youth Athletics Championship held at Panjim in 2015.
