Itanagar: Petrol pumps see long queue after rumour of scarcity
Later it was clarified that due to flood like situation at Digboi refinery in Assam, the trucks carrying fuel could not move out leading to the shortage.

There was heavy rush on Thursday across petrol pumps in the capital complex and some other parts of the state. People were seen rushing to the petrol depots to stock fuel after rumours started spreading that the fuel supplies to Arunachal Pradesh has been stopped for the last few days.
Later it was clarified that due to flood like situation at Digboi refinery in Assam, the trucks carrying fuel could not move out leading to the shortage.
However with improvement in flood situation, the fuel trucks are expected to start arriving in the state by Friday morning.
