Free Eye and Dental Camp at remote village of Ichamati

The Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong and Ramakrishna Mission, Cherrapunjee on Sunday, jointly conducted a Free Eye and Dental Camp at remote village of Ichamati, situated near Shella in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya.
The Camp started from the morning hour at the Ichamati Community Health Centre (CHC) of Department of Health and Family Welfare in presence of Swami Nityatmananda of Cherrapunjee Centre and Swami Vedasarananda of Shillong Centre and continued till the evening.
The Camp consisting of Ophthalmologist Dr. Pallab Dewan and Dentist Dr. Reshmi Talukdar served 103 and 69 patients respectively with the help of paramedical staffs.
One Health Awareness Seminar was also organized at the Conference Hall of the Community Heath Centre for the patients of Ichamati and near about villages in which both the doctors and Swamis spoke. The Seminar was attended by 100 (approx) villagers.
