Marathon & walkathon held on 69th Army Day

Red Horns Division conducted Mini Marathon & walkathon on 22 Jan 17 to commemorate the 69th Army Day Celebrations. Maj Gen Rajeev Sirohi, VSM GOC, Red Horns Division flagged of the mega event wherein more than 800 runners from Umroi Military Station & premier institutes of Indian Council Agricultural Research (ICAR)& North-East Space Application Research Center (NESAC) participated Alongside Mini Marathon, a Walkathon was also organised for women & children walking enthusiasts. The Mini Marathon and Walkathon were based on “STAY FIT, FIGHT FIT” theme to exhort everyone towards being fit physically and mentally. The event received overwhelming response from all participants. Maj Gen Rajeev Sirohi, VSM, GOC Red Horns Division awarded medals to winners at culmination of the mega event.
