Home Secretary GS Meena while addressing the annual sports meet of kendriya Vidyalaya here today said students are the future academician of the country.
He blessed and motivate the students for participation in curricular on the occasion. He appreciated the spirit of students and teachers. He assured his full support of the government at any time.
Director Higher & Technical Education Tayek Talom attending as social guest said that now the state government have abolished the no fail system and you need to work hard to pass the examination from this year. there is a need of maintaining discipline, sincerity and dedication so that the they pass the examination with flying colour.
Talom said that since the sports is the main parts of maintaining the health, after the establishment of Sports University in Manipur the students of the Arunachal would also chance to take part.
Principal GD Meena in his address said that KV-2 having the strength of 1340 students from Class –I to XII with science stream in class XI & XII. School observed all activities like literary, sports, cultural activities, exposure tour, Scouts & guised etc unlike others central and state government runned schools in the state capital of Arunachal Pradesh.
Vice Principal Dr. B Saha, CRPF 138 Battalion Commandant Paresh Nath, Second in Command Anil Kumar, parents of students, local people of the area among others were present on the occasion.
The day long programme which include cultural display which include single dance, group dance, tribal group dance, demonstration of yoga, sporting event which include 100 mtrs race, relay race, 3 leg race of students from Class IX to XII. Race for teachers.
Prizes were distributed by the guests and others.
The guests also distributed the Cash award by the kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) to the 11 meritorious students who have secured the 10 CGPA of Class X in last CBSE examination, the guest also distributed the award made by the state government on the day of statehood 2017 to the students.
