Arunachal: Khonsa west Bypoll, DGP visits polling stations
On the second day of his visit, DGP R.P UPadhyaya visited polling stations at Thinsa and kheti village under 56-khonsa (west) assembly constituency.

On second day of his visit to Tirap for reviewing security in view of bye elections in khonsa, DGP R.P UPadhyaya held a high level meeting with senior officers from Assam Riffles, CRPF and other forces and discussed at length the deployment of forces, security of candidates , intelligence inputs etc.
later on DGP interacted with both contesting candidates and ensured them free and fair polling process.
Further ,while interacting with Gaon burahs , DGP said that they are eye & ear of the Administration and they should come forward and share important information with SP and DC pertaining to security .
DGP R.P UPadhyaya also visited polling station at Thinsa and kheti village.
Throughout his visit in Tirap district, DGP R.P UPadhyaya exhorted all stakeholders for cooperation and said that through their support and active participation we will redeem the image of Arunachal Pradesh as Island of Peace.
